In case you're wondering, yes that is a boat on top of those three buildings in the first picture. Despite my ambivalence about Singapore THAT was pretty cool! Oh and it's a casino for all you gamblers out there!
Ok I'm keeping this one short. I spent four days here. Even my taxi driver told me that was too long which made me laugh. It's a nice city, very nice people, very modern, very clean, I can take a shower open mouthed without worrying whether the water will poison me - hooray. Serious reverse culture shock after Delhi let me tell ya. You find yourself saying "holy crap look, no poor people living on the side of the road (and when I say that I don't mean it in a condescending way, I mean that it's just so damn clean and orderly in Singapore whereas Dehli was so chaotic and messy and, well, I miss that)"!! Ok clearly I just wasn't into it so I took a few pics and that's about all I'm going to say about the city. C'mon, give me a break! After my rhapsodizing about India, anything afterwards is going to seem dull right? Sorry Singapore, you're beautiful and you've got a lot going for ya - maybe I'll give you another chance sometime..I think…
